NSE Historical Intra Day Database

The life of Charting is having Historical Database for analysis.

I searched for NSE Intraday Data it but found that some how people are not willing to share it for free.

Many people are desperately seeking for this kind of data and new comers cant afford to pay huge prices for software's and data as well.

I have NSE Cash 5 min of over 1000 stocks for the year 2008 2009 and 2010. Am updating 2014.

The gap lies in 2011, 2012 and 2013.

Considering this I have decided to upload as much data as I have with me and some day some Noble person would come our way to fill in this gap and make our database complete.

UTRRC Downloader Tutorial

1. The extracted zip file has the following files and folders

2. Select GoogleNSE-5mins.txt if you want to download 5 min tick data from NSE

3. Select GoogleNSE-5mins.txt and open the text file

4. Add Google NSE symbols of the stocks for which you would like to have the intra day data as shown below

5. Save this text file after you have entered the symbols name in the config file. Go back to UTRRC folder

6.Click on Utrrc.com Downloader.exe and the UTRRC software will open

7. Click on Google IEOD .. The first sub menu is NSE + BSE. Select this NSE + BSE.

                                     

8 . Select Market - NSE IEOD

Select Period 1 min for 1 min tick data . 5 min for 5 min tick data or 60 min for 1 hr data.

 

9. Select Back fill days as per your requirement

10. The maximum backfill days is 50 days from this date.

11. Click on Start Down Load. The data will start downloading.

12. The Start Download will turn green after the data has been downloaded

13. Go back to the UTRRC folder and select IEOD folder to open it

14. Within this open NSEG 5min folder where the five min data would have been downladed for the specified period

15. Open the NSEG5Min folder. You will see your 5 Min downloaded data here for the period and the specified stocks you had put in config file

The chart of Plethico was posted on facebook around mid April as a short term stock.

Plethico seems to be entering a bull run now.

This happened by May end when Indswift was quoting @ 7 - 8.

Indswift made a high of Rs. 12 on 10 Jun 2014
